As we enjoy walking and are lovers of this most beautiful area, we are able to advise on all aspects of your holiday. Whatever your interests, we are here to help you to make the absolute most out of your holiday. Here you can go walking along the beach paths, or climbing mountains. Several famous authors made the Lake District their home, and their houses are open for the public to see. A day in ‘Beatrix Potters World’ in Bowness, or why not see William Wordsworth’s home, ‘Dove Cottage’ in Grasmere.
In this astonishing part of England, you can find almost anything to do, for everyone. Feel very welcome to contact us for more information.
Kirkwood Guest House is open all year and as well as our normal tariff we offer off-season and Christmas breaks.
We will provide an ideal base for your Lake District holiday. Autumn, Winter, and Spring holidays can be particularly enjoyable with bright clear days, or mysterious foggy mornings, cosy dark evenings in front of a warm open fire, it is all here. Off-season are also a time when traffic is scarce, and the stress level is down to zero, just a time to relax and enjoy.
